2025 Winner:
Hooby’s Brewing with This Damn Hazy!
The 2025 California Brewer’s Cup was a strong and competitive field, with standout entries from across the region. Hooby’s Brewing took home top honors with their beer This Damn Hazy, earning the highest recognition of the day for overall quality, balance, and crowd appeal.
Rounding out the top four were Shussboom with Bear Bait, Longhorn with Deep Water Blonde, and KC Kombucha with Blueberry Mint — a diverse lineup that showcased the creativity and range of this year’s participants. Congratulations to Hooby’s Brewing and all of the breweries and makers who helped make the 2025 Brewer’s Cup another memorable highlight of the California Brewers Festival.
2024 Winner:
Third Street Ale Works with their Village Pilsner!
This year’s festival was epic, with Third Street Ale Works reigning supreme and showcasing their exceptional brewing skills. A special shoutout to Original Pattern and CUVER Belgian Brewers for their impressive performances.
2023 Winner:
FiftyFifty Brewing Co. with their 2021 Eclipse – Barrel Cuvee
At last year’s event, the incredible FiftyFifty Brewing took home the coveted title, showcasing their brewing excellence. Let’s not forget to give a round of applause to our honorable mentions: BikeDog, Pabst, and Alaro Brewing, who brewed up some serious competition.
